For those struggling to maintain a proper sleep schedule or experiencing difficulties in sleeping, Sleep Cycle is a reporting tool to help you out to get to the bottom of it, made the app at one point as I saw a similar report.
What is Sleep Cycle?
By filling out a simple report each day (updating your current one), you’ll gain insights into what’s affecting your sleep and find ways to develop a more consistent and healthy sleep pattern.

Daily Report Input
Each day you’ll be asked to provide the following details:
- Day: The day of the week.
- Date: Specific date of the input, e.g., 30 July 2016.
- Lights Off: When you turned off the lights to go to bed.
- Fell Asleep Estimate: When you estimate you fell asleep.
- Wake Up Time: When you woke up.
- Time Awake: Total time awake during the night.
- Number of Wake-Ups: How many times you woke up during the night, if any.
- Left Bed: When you finally got out of bed.
- Quality: The quality of sleep you experienced.
- Sleep Efficiency Score: Calculated using the equation
(total_sleep_time / total_bed_time) * 100, this gives you a percentage per day that helps in analyzing your sleep efficiency.
Print It
You can print out your report to observe your progress, make adjustments, or share with a healthcare provider.
